Pizza Date On Rainy Day

I have to admit that I’m being spoiled brat when it comes to junk food. I said several times to K that I wanna pizza, but not Pizza Hut. I wanna try Domino Pizza. And I’m surprised he said yes, despite the fact that he doesn’t like cheese.

We order Value Deal 1 which cost Rp 62.500. It consist 1 Hand-Tossed Pizza, Potato Wedges and 1 lt. Coca Cola. Because we order Value Deal 1, we only able to chose topping from Favourite category. We decided to chose Meat&Meat.

4 Movies In 1 Month

March is craziest month I ever had. Not because the fact that I was born in March, but I feel like I spend too much money just for movie in this month.  Remember when I said London Has Fallen is unplanned? (Check Spontaneous Movie Date)

Yes, it’s totally unplanned because all I want for March is Allegiant. Nothing else. But as wise man said, men can plan anything they want, but it’s up to God to make it true or not. And surprise, I spend more than 200K in 1 month.

4 Movies In 1 Month

Yup, I usually planning my monthly budget for hanging out about around 200-300K rupiah. That’s if I also plan to buy a book. But if I’m only want to watch movie, I’ll prepare 200K rupiah.

And guess what?

I’m officially broke.

Well, not really broke because I, in fact, still depend on my dad. Financially. And because I will graduate this year, I need to find stable job so I can manage my finance by own. Lots of good movie are coming out this year. That means I need lots of money.

Now, let me explain how I ended up watched 4 movie in 1 month:

{REVIEW} Kung Fu Panda 3

Living large and loving life, Po realizes that he has a lot to learn if he’s going to fulfill the next challenge from his beloved instructor, Master Shifu. After reuniting with his long-lost father, Po must transition from student to teacher and train a group of fun-loving, clumsy pandas to become martial-arts fighters. Together, they unite to take on the evil Kai, a supernatural warrior who becomes stronger with absorbing chi.

This is the funniest movie I ever watched. There’s few scene that seems like shading action animation movie where protagonist fighting against antagonist and during that scene, those two is talked too much. I love how Po keeps cutting Kai by said “ Chit chat. Chitty chitty chat chat,”. Damn, that scene is gold.

{REVIEW} London Has Fallen

After the death of the British prime minister, the world’s most powerful leaders gather in London to pay their respects. Without warning, terrorists unleash a devastating attack that leaves the city in chaos and ruins. Secret Service agent Mike Banning springs into action to bring U.S. President Benjamin Asher to safety. When Asher falls into the hands of the sinister organization, it’s up to Banning to save his commander in chief from a horrible fate.

Whenever I watch this kind of movie, I often think, “ Is this…little bit offensive?” I mean, there’s lot of Americans movie where American play as victim while other country is evil, and honestly, I’m tired with that plot. Is this how Americans puts propaganda?

Now, I only talk about acting performance and storyline since I’m not expert in analyzing CGI. But when we watched, K repeatedly said, “ The effect is bad! The effect is bad!”

{REVIEW} Allegiant (Movie)

Tris escapes with Four, Christina, Caleb and Peter to journey beyond the wall that encloses Chicago. For the first time, they leave the only city and family they have ever known to find a peaceful solution. Once outside, they learn shocking new truths that render old discoveries meaningless. As the ruthless battle threatens humanity, Tris and Four quickly decide who to trust to survive. Tris must ultimately make difficult choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.

I admit, I kinda worried what will they do once they ended movie like that. But when I saw the first scene, the worries is faded away. As the movie goes forward, I felt more and more excited.

{REVIEW} Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice

It’s been nearly two years since Superman’s colossal battle with Zod devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne. Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.

Please note: The review will be short as this one isn’t from my pure observation. I’m not big fan of DC Comics so I’ll combine K’s POV and my POV to review the movie.

According to K, the figure of Superman in the film is portrayed more humane than the previous film, while Batman portrayed weaker. This can lead to disappointment for some fans. In my opinion, the Batman character portrayed too childish and cannot think very clearly. But still, I give my thumbs up to Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill for their briliant acting.

{REVIEW} Nevertales: Beauty Within

Just when you were finally done with work for the day, a stranger comes knocking loudly at your door. When you answer there’s no one… no one except a helpless baby abandoned on your doorstep. You follow after the stranger, hoping to find some answers but are drawn into a mystery that beckons you into a castle-like mansion. Who does the baby belong to? Why were you chosen?

Nevertales - Beauty Within (1)

This is the BEST games EVER.

Not exaggareting, but it’s really AMAZING.

Let’s talk about graphics and voice over, okay?

It’s beautiful. It has wonderful color, stunning effects and smooth animations. The voice over is great, not over the top and the soundtrack is like fairytale.
