Anna Dressed In Blood by Kendare Blake

Anna Dressed In Blood

Cas Lowood has inherited an unusual vocation: He kills the dead.

So did his father before him, until he was gruesomely murdered by a ghost he sought to kill. Now, armed with his father’s mysterious and deadly athame, Cas travels the country with his kitchen-witch mother and their spirit-sniffing cat. They follow legends and local lore, destroy the murderous dead, and keep pesky things like the future and friends at bay.

Searching for a ghost the locals call Anna Dressed in Blood, Cas expects the usual: track, hunt, kill. What he finds instead is a girl entangled in curses and rage, a ghost like he’s never faced before. She still wears the dress she wore on the day of her brutal murder in 1958: once white, now stained red and dripping with blood. Since her death, Anna has killed any and every person who has dared to step into the deserted Victorian she used to call home.

Yet she spares Cas’s life.

I stop watch and read horror genre since 3 years ago. I notice it’s not good for my heart health. It haunted me and give me nightmare. But Anna Dressed In Blood is different.

Will she able to do it?

Angela Young's Dream Adventure (1)

Actually, the whole story is all about save her cat, Felix—no, there’s no story plot here. It’s too confusing. Looks like game version of Alice In Wonderland, but the graphic are too stiff and made the characters look like statue.

{REVIEW} Insurgent (Movie)

Tris and Four search for allies and answers in the ruins of Chicago. They must find out what Tris’ family sacrificed their lives to protect and why the Erudites will do anything to stop them. Side by side, Tris and Four face one seemingly insurmountable challenge after another, as they unravel the secrets of the past and the future of their world.

Okay, I gettin’ suspicious since the first trailer when they show the black box. I got the feel that they will change the plot.

I still can tolerate the black box, also the change in Tobias. He’s more into Tris than his mom (in the novel version, Tobias looks like defend his mom so much than Tris). K even said Tobias look so gentle.

Art of Vlog

Actually, I have love-hate feeling when it comes to daily vlog in Youtube. Sometime, I love  vlog if it really fun to watch. It’s really nice knowing what people outside of my country doing, also it’s fun to see non-Asian life. From that, I understand why most of Indonesians are love Western culture.

But, there’s time I dislike even hate a vlog. Okay, hate is very strong word, but it’s honest from my heart. I very dislike when vlogger post repetitive video. I know it’s daily vlog, but if there’s nothing good to share, you better not upload it. Just upload when the content is really great for show.

Then, I also get confused with some vlogger. They vlog themselves all the time and just telling the stories. I wanna see what kind of places that they went to, not just seeing it as background. Remember, people pay attention more to something they see, not they hear.

Why not vlog the places that you visit? You don’t have to show yourself in every vlog. I, to be honest, just vlog myself for intro. After that, I will vlog the places that I visit at that time. Seriously, it’s like new level of narcisstic!

There’s few vloggers that I still watch and tolerate. Here’s the list and why:
